Be sure to visit Alvin Martin of Misty Meadows Country Market in Conn. Alvin, who came up with the idea of the Horse and Buggy Trail in 2009, is happy to see the Trail finally open and
welcomes everyone to visit the farms and other
businesses on the Trail.
Open year round, the Trail follows the scenic back
roads of Southgate. Visit the tidy farmsteads where you are welcome to browse for local food, maple syrup, eggs, flowers, baking, and preserves galore plus two local butchers, an authentic general store, a baker, furniture makers and even a buggy shop and old feed mill!
