As Canada’s leading child and youth mentoring charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitates life-changing relationships that inspire and empower children and youth to reach their potential, both as individuals and citizens.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Wellington has been creating friendships in the County of Wellington since 1974. As separate agencies first then in 2000 the Big Sisters of Mount Forest & District merged with the Big Brothers of North Wellington to become Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Wellington. We started out as discrete agencies matching Big Brothers with Little Brothers and Big Sisters with Little Sisters and have grown to include a variety of different programs such as In-School Mentoring, Game On and Go Girls that serve children in the school system. We are proud of our achievements and continue to strive to be on the leading edge of the Big Brothers Big Sisters movement in Canada.

Our Vision is "Every Child in Canada Who Needs a Mentor, Has a Mentor". Our Mission is "The purpose of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Wellington is to provide the young people of our communities with the highest quality volunteer-based mentoring and group programming."

Our services cover North Wellington County which includes Mount. Forest, Conn, Clifford, Harriston, Palmerston, Drayton, Moorefield, Alma, Arthur and everywhere between.
