In 1925, there were two United Churches in Mount Forest, Wellington Street and Westminster. These two united in June 1934. For a time they chose to worship for six months in one church, then for six months in the other. In 1936, they became known as the Mount Forest United Church and they decided to use Westminster Church and the Wellington Street parsonage became the minister's home. Later they decided it would be more convenient for the minister to live beside the church, so the former manse was purchased from Allen Waters, and they traded houses.
They have a two-point charge including Mount Forest United Church and Woodland United Church. There is a wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available.
We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbour.
